The Decorative Chip & Seal Application is an excellent alternative to traditional asphalt. Chip and Seal provides an enhanced colorful feature and texture to the surface of the newly installed or existing driveway. Many homeowners seek a unique appearance that compliments their home and landscaping design. Decorative Aggregate surfaces are available in a variety of colors and textures that will achieve the custom appearance you desire for your home.

The installation process requires (HFE 90) liquid asphalt heated to 160 degrees and sprayed over a minimum 2 inch asphalt surface. The desired aggregate is then applied to the surface, spread evenly, and then rolled and compacted into the HFE 90 liquid asphalt. Any excess aggregate is then raked off and removed from the surface for years of enjoyment and use for the homeowner.

Optionally, many homeowners choose to add a steel or brick curbing to the driveway for additional beautification and refinement. This will also add longevity to the lifetime of the driveway and prevent the edges of the driveway from cracking away.
